About Kris

• Born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana
  - BA degree in English Literature from Newcomb College of Tulane
  - Taught High School English
• Lived in Tachikawa, Japan for 3 years
  - Taught English Conversation in Tokyo
• Moved to Portland - began work on BFA degree at the then-
  Museum Art School - while raising two young children
• Next to Eugene - continued studies at the University of Oregon

• Later moved to the California Bay Area - completed BFA degree in Interior Architectural Design at CCAC, now
  California College of Art
  - Began real estate career in residential in the Oakland/Piedmont area
  - Then into commercial real estate at Grubb & Ellis and later to a smaller firm
  
  Basically, I'm a people person and I like to make it happen for all of my clients. I've worked with new home buyers, couples looking for second homes and retirement properties, small businesses, all the way to large corporations and governmental institutions.

• After 15 years in real estate, took a "sabbatical" and sailed down the
  California Coast and around the Channel Islands with husband Jim
  - Decided to upset the apple cart and try something different
  - Completed Web Design & Management Certificate at UC Santa Barbara
  - Employed at Clear Ink as an Associate Web Producer

• Returned to real estate consulting part time for past clients
• Began to look for a smaller community that would support our lifestyle - and just start over

Having my two grown children and three grandchildren close by in Portland is also an added
